Description: A stunning GMT-Master with a matte dial, FULL SET, and REDBACK Pepsi inlay.
The case is in very good condition. While it may have been lightly polished in the past, it still displays wonderful proportions, beautifully sharp edges, and a very good matte finish on the top of the case. There are minor signs of wear, but no deep scratches, dents, or anything like that.
The matte GMT-Master dial is wonderful. It features a clear print, no flaws, and a wonderfully rich patina. Please take a look at the pictures in different light, as the patina is truly amazing.
The hands, with a patina that matches the dial’s lume material, are in very good condition.
The bezel is sharp with clear teeth, and the bezel inlay is particularly noteworthy. It’s a REDBACK Pepsi inlay. Why is this important? For a long time, it was assumed that the 16750 always had the BLUEBACK movement. Today we know better. The first 16750s still had redbacks, and they’re simply a thousand times more beautiful than the later bluebacks. Plus, the price of a redback is certainly a thousand euros more, but it’s definitely worth the cost.
The watch comes as a beautiful full set with box and papers. It was first sold to rolex autorized dealer Douglas Krook in Malmö (LC270, Sweden). We can trace the history of the watch wonderfully, because in addition to the original papers, we also have a purchase receipt from Klarlund in Denmark. This is from 2004, when the watch changed hands.
The set itself is also fantastic, by the way. Original box with 16750 sticker, both booklets, just as it should be!
Furthermore, the watch has received a complete moveent service from us, ensuring years of wearing pleasure.
The 78360 Oyster bracelet, just as the watch, is in fine vintage condition. The bracelet shows light stretch but wears perfectly on the wrist and with clasp code I8 for August 1984, it is slightly younger than the watch.
Conclusion: A 16750 with all the attributes. Full set, redback, top patina.
