Description: Beautiful GMT II in steel gold with a wonderful tiger eye dial.
The case is in wonderful condition. It is characterized by full lugs, razor-sharp edges and a perfect matte finish. There are minimal signs of wear that can not be seen without a loupe.
The highlight of this GMT is the dial, which is the tiger eye variant. As the pictures show, it has a wonderful brown tone combined with a super strong sunray cut. This results in the dial showing a different shade from every angle. A wonderful effect.
Incidentally, the dial is also original to the watch and year of manufacture, as it is the correct Swiss-T<25 variant.
The set of hands, just as the dial, are in perfect condition and have a patina that matches the dial.
The bezel is wonderfully sharp and the bezel inlay shows only minimal signs of wear.
Yes, back in the 90s and early 2000s, this variant wasn’t particularly popular. This also resulted in the watch staying with the concessionaire for a very long time. Manufactured in 1992, it was probably delivered in the mid-90s and has been sold on October 10, 2001 by jeweler Rova on the island of Corfu (Greece LC 207).
The 78.363.18 Oyster bracelet (steel and 18 carat yellow gold) is, just as the watch, very good, with no significant signs of wear and with very light stretch. It has all links and with clasp code P9 for September 1992 it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: Great Tiger Eye GMT II. Previously not wanted, today a demanded classic and this example impresses on all levels.
