Description: A fantastic 16710 Rectangular from Indonesia.
The case is in worn but unpolished condition. As the pictures perfectly show, the case has great proportions and the matte finish on the top of the case is also fully present. There are some signs of wear, but overall, it’s a top-notch case, which is also confirmed by the intact caseback sticker.
The dial is a special feature. It’s a so-called RECTANGULAR dial. RECTANGULAR refers to the GMT-Master II logo and, in this case, the Roman number 2. In this dial version, the logo is without broad horizontal lines, making the 2 appear rectangle-like. A cool feature for collectors and connoisseurs.
The bezel is wonderfully sharp, also unpolished, and the Pepsi bezel inlay is very good, with only light signs of wear.
The watch is offered as a beautiful full set with box and papers. It has been sold in February 2007 by rolex authorized dealer Emas Jaya Arloji in Indonesia (LC 430).
The 78790A Oyster bracelet is in very good condition. It shows only minimal stretch and minor signs of wear. The clasp code is MA9 for September 2005, and since it’s a very early Z series from late 2005 to early 2006, this certainly is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: A beautiful 16710 with a special dial in fine condition.
