Description: Wonderful matte triple6 Sea-Dweller with box and papers.
The case is in fantastic condition. Once gently polished, it displays perfect proportions, the wonderfully typical wide edges of a triple6 Sea-Dweller and a perfect matte finish on the caseback. There are minimal signs of wear, but no deep scratches, dents, or anything like that.
The matte dial is superb. This is the MKII variant, which perfectly matches the watch’s serial number. Matte dials can be found in triple6 Sea-Dwellers up to a serial number of 8.3 million and here I am able to offer one of the last matte triple6s.
As the pictures beautifully show, the dial is in superb condition. The print is crisp, and the lume material on the indices has developed a wonderful, rich yellow patina. Many of these dials tend to develop a stained patina. This dial has none of that and is therefore in top condition.
The hands are also in excellent condition with a patina that perfectly complements the dial.
The watch is offered as a perfect full set from the USA. It has been sold by rolex authorized dealer Tourneau Inc. on January 25, 1986. The set is truly perfect, as it includes the box and papers, both booklets, the Sea-Dweller Toolkit, and the extremely rare anchor bracelet.
The 93160 Oyster bracelet, just as the watch itself, is in excellent condition. The bracelet shows no stretch, wears perfectly on the wrist and with the clasp code H for 1983, it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: A matte Triple 6 is a rare watch. In this condition and with this full set of accessories, it is even rarer and not often found on the market.
