Description: Amazing Double Red Sea-Dweller MKIII with great charisma in delivery condition.
The case is really, really sharp. Wonderful proportions, wonderful cut and a perfect matt finish. There hasn’t been any wild polishing or anything like that going on in the last few decades. Take a look at the detailed pictures to be as excited as I am.
The caseback is also in very nice condition with clear print. The inside of the case shows the complete serial number of the watch, as is appropriate for this series and delivery time.
The original Double Red Sea-Dweller dial is simply wonderful. The print is super clear, the red print is wonderfully present and the lume not only shows a great creamy patina, it also has the typical waffle pattern of this time, which simply gives the watch even more charm and beauty.
By the way, this is the MKIII version of the Double Red dials, which of course matches the serial number of the dial perfectly (original dial).
The tritium hands are also in wonderful condition with an absolutely harmonious patina.
The bezel is the original and slightly fatter bezel, which you can only find on Double Red Sea-Dweller and the MK3 bezel inlay has aged perfectly into the gray blue. This combined with the red print and the patina creates a wonderful image.
This dream piece comes with an original t39 superdomed plexiglas, because that’s the only way we like our vintage Sea-Dwellers.
The 9315 folded Oyster bracelet is in great condition. It has not been polished, shows only light stretch and minor signs of wear. You are also lucky that the bracelet comes with the original and super rare 285 lugs.
Conclusion: We haven’t had a Double Red to offer you for a long time. Why? Because the beautiful specimens like this are rare and anyone who owns one, simply won’t give it away.
