White F Series Explorer II in unpolished condition with box and papers from first owner The case is in used and unpolished condition. Full lugs, great sharp edges and a very good matt finish are characterizing the case. The watch has been loved and worn with pleasure and this is also shown by the signs of wear on the case and bracelet. Nevertheless, I am very happy, because the genuine, unpolished 5-digit Rolex sports models are becoming fewer and fewer. The white Explorer II dial is in perfect condition and so are the hands. The sapphir glas is perfect and the bezel shows the same signs of wear as the case and bracelet, which means that it’s also unpolished! I was able to purchase this great 16570 Explorer II directly from the first owner, a French entrepreneur, who bought it on April 2nd, 2005 from rolex authorized dealer Artland Watch Co. in Hong Kong. It’s also cool that he kept the hangtag, because the full serial number is also printed on it. Just as the watch, the 78790A Oyster bracelet is unpolished with signs of wear and only light stretch. It wears perfectly on the wrist and with clasp code CL8 for August 2004 it is the original bracelet to the watch.
Conclusion: Beautiful Explorer II white. Unfortunately, such watches are becoming fewer and fewer – therefore always a pleasure to have on your wrist.
