Wonderful yellow gold Daytona on a leather strap.
The case is in wonderful condition. Based on its overall shape and proportions, this case may well be unpolished. If not, it has been lightly polished once at the most, and that to perfection. In any case, the lugs are thick, the edges razor-sharp and the matte finish on the top of the case is perfect.
There are minimal signs of wear, but overall the watch is in perfect condition.
The bezel, just as the case, is great. Clear numbers, not washed out or polished, with minimal signs of wear. Simply exquisite.
The gold inverted six dial is in perfect condition. The tritium lume has developed a wonderful, slightly creamy patina. The hands are also perfect with a patina that complements the dial.
The sapphire crystal is perfect.
This fantastic Zenith Daytona 16528 comes with box and papers. It has been sold on October 10, 1991, by rolex authorized dealer Artland Watch Co. in Hong Kong.
The watch comes with a fresh factory service, is water-resistant, and runs beautifully. This guarantees years of enjoyment.
The bracelet is where things get interesting. The watch was purchased as a gift for a lady, but she didn’t like the original yellow gold bracelet. Therefore, a leather strap was fitted relatively soon after the gift was given. Now to the interesting part: the yellow gold bracelet has vanished without a trace. We have fitted a new Molequin leather strap and equipped it with a gold-plated Rolex pin buckle. This presents an opportunity to acquire a rather unique 16528 Daytona, which also looks stunning on the leather strap.
Conclusion: The watch is in perfect condition, the complete set of accessories is excellent and we have generously factored the missing yellow gold bracelet into the price.
