Description: Super rare P series Zenith Daytona in a full set with German service papers.
It took me a long time being able to offer this rare treasure to my community.
As already mentioned in my previous offer for a NOS 16520, the P series is the last series of the 16520 ZENITH Daytona – not the A series as often believed. In total, around 2-300 Zenith Daytonas with P serial numbers were built and Rolex did this because they simply had remaining Zenith movements in stock and wanted to use them.
The case is in very good condition. Minimally polished for the first time during a service in 2018, only light signs of wear have been removed. It shows the highly demanded top proportions, beautiful sharp edges and a fine matte finish on the top of the case. There haven’t really been many signs of wear since 2018 and these are only in the form of small micro-swirls. The watch has no deep dents, scratches or anything like that!
The black Daytona dial with Swiss Made lettering and Superluminova material is in perfect condition and so are the hands.
The sapphire glas is perfect and the bezel is wonderful with a clear print.
This beauty delights its new owner with a really top scope of delivery. The watch has been sold on August 15, 2000 by Howells Haverfordwest in England. In addition to the original box with sticker, both booklets, pouch and translation are part of the scope of delivery.
In addition to the original papers, the customer will receive service papers (warranty card and service invoice) from a German concessionaire from 2018.
The 78390 Oyster bracelet is great, just as the watch, with no major signs of wear and light stretch. It has all links and with clasp code MA12 for December 2005 it is slightly younger than the watch.
Conclusion: Super rare P Series Zenith Daytona in perfect condition whether it’s for your collection or for your wrist.
