Description: Unpolished Zenith Daytona with a stunning dial from Milan, Italy.
The case is in unpolished and truly excellent condition. The watch has seen very little wrist time and therefore presents itself beautifully. There are only minor signs of wear, which is simply unavoidable with white gold, but not a single deep scratch, dent, or anything of the sort can be found.
The top condition of the case is also confirmed by the completely intact case back sticker.
The cream-white Zenith Daytona dial is in perfect condition. It is the so-called “racing dial” variant with Arabic numerals. As the pictures show, the tritium lume has developed a slightly creamy patina. The hands are also in excellent condition and have a patina that complements the dial.
The bezel, like the case, is unpolished and exceptionally sharp. The sapphire crystal is perfect.
As already mentioned, the watch comes from beautiful Milan, Italy. It was sold by Luigi Verga in January 1998. The included box and papers are really cool, because Verga went to the trouble of adding their company sticker to the box and papers.
The brown Rolex leather strap is brand new, and the original 18-karat white gold folding clasp is also unpolished, with only slight superficial signs of wear. The clasp code is Z for 1997, so it’s the original clasp for the watch.
Conclusion: A fantastic Zenith Daytona in exceptional condition with a fine set of accessories.
