Beschreibung: A wonderful unpolished yellow gold Datejust with a stunning blue sunray-cut dial.
The case is in excellent condition. Absolutely unpolished, it features perfect lugs, super-sharp edges, and a wonderful matte finish on the top of the case. Minimal signs of wear are present, but the case is truly outstanding. The perfect quality is also confirmed by the intact caseback sticker.
The blue sunray-cut dial is in excellent condition, just as the case. Top condition, no flaws, clear print, and fully intact lume. What else can you wish for.
The hands are also top and have a matching patina to the dial.
The bezel is still super sharp and shows only the lightest signs of a sleeve polish.
Perfect case, perfect dial. Could there be more?
Of course. A super, super full set. Sold on March 26, 1996 by rolex authorized dealer Gioielleria Melandri in Italy. The scope of delivery includes absolutely everything. The Oyster booklet, Datejust booklet, calendar, and even the original notebook in a beautiful leather cover are included. Rarely have I seen such a beautiful set.
It comes on a brand-new blue Molequin leather strap and a Rolex pin buckle (gold-plated). Given the lack of wear on the case, we are quite certain that the watch has always been worn and delivered on a leather strap.
Conclusion: A Datejust in a class of its own. At the top of its class in every category.
