The creamy dreamy. Wonderful, unpolished Cream Dial Datejust The case is in top and unpolished condition. Full lugs, perfect proportions, sharp edges and a great matt finish on the top of the case characterize it. As the pictures also show, there are signs of wear, but this is exactly what a vintage Datejust should look like in order to continue to love it as it has been loved in the past. In addition to the top case, the dial is the highlight of this watch. Amazing cream dial. Super strong vanilla cream tone. Even discoloration, without weaknesses, quirks or anything like that. The dial is one of the most beautiful cream dials I have ever seen. These dials were created by a color defect. Originally delivered in white, the color pigments decompose over time and create this wonderful creamy patina. This does not happen evenly, resulting in color differences and sometimes, as is the case here, you are very fortunate that the discoloration is absolutely even. The tritium hands are also in great condition with a consistent patina to the lume material of the dial. The bezel is wonderfully sharp and unpolished, just as the case. This super cool Datejust comes with original box and booklet. Just as the watch, the 62510H Jubile bracelet is unpolished with light stretch. Thanks to the numerous links, it also fits thicker wrists and with the clasp code P2 for February 1991 it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: The “Dreamy Creamy” is another example of why I love vintage Rolex. So many facets, so many possibilities and every day you see something new and beautiful about these watches.
