Description: Oh yeah that’s a Royal Oak. Extremely rare intermediate reference with only 1932 pieces ever produced and of these only 525 pieces in yellow gold. Rarely? Absolutely. I love the Royal Oak and have had many great ones on offer. I’ve never had a 14486BA before! The 14486 was introduced in 1986 and is the intermediate link between the reference 4100 and the reference 14790. Made for just one year, it is one of the rarest Royal Oak references you can find.
The watch offered here has exactly what we look out for and love in a Royal Oak. A really outstandingly good case. Perfect proportions, razor-sharp edges and a matte finish for the history books. One criterion for a Royal Oak case is the position of the case screws. Here we have created a special picture for you so you can see how good this watch is.
The bezel, which is significantly wider than the 4100, is just as wonderful. The distances between the screws and the edge of the bezel are optimal and testify to the quality of the watch.
The gray black petit tapestry dial is great. No damages and strong print leave nothing to be desired. Since this is one of the first models, the date wheel is also special. In contrast to later light date wheels, this one is strong golden and harmonizes brilliantly.
The original integrated 18k yellow gold Royal Oak bracelet is in excellent condition. We took a picture of it to showcase the quality and truly, we have rarely seen such a good yellow gold bracelet. By the way, the bracelet is also a great length, with a total of 8 removable links.
Conclusion: Rare, beautiful and in top condition. Every Royal Oak fan will be thrilled.
