A fantastic blue Tudor Submariner featuring a super cool faded bezel inlay.
The case is in very good condition. Recently polished with great care, it retains excellent proportions, fine sharp edges, and a high-quality matte finish on the top of the case. Signs of wear are minimal – there are no deep scratches, dents, or anything like that.
The blue Submariner Date dial is in perfect condition without any flaws. The hands are also in excellent condition, that show a patina that harmonizes beautifully with the dial.
The bezel is wonderfully crisp, and the inlay is a so-called “Ghost” inlay—meaning it has lost its original color entirely. The combination of the blue dial and the perfectly faded inlay is simply cool. Why? Because it makes the blue of the dial stand out even more. The pearl (lume pip) has been replaced with a Super-LumiNova version.
The Tudor 9315 folded Oyster bracelet is in very good condition. With slight stretch and 11 links, it is perfectly wearable. The bracelet has also been lightly refinished; featuring the correct clasp code, it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: Tudor’s blue Submariners are a prime reason to appreciate and love this brand. You get so much enjoyment on the wrist for a comparatively modest price.
