Fantastic unpolished 16710 GMT II with box and papers.
The case is in worn but unpolished condition. As the pictures perfectly show, the case has perfect proportions, wonderfully sharp edges, and a perfect matte finish on the top of the case. Furthermore, the caseback sticker is intact, which underscores the watch’s minimal wear.
There are some minor signs of wear – a small scratch or a tiny nick here and there, which is simply unavoidable even with careful handling.
Overall, it’s in excellent condition.
The GMT-Master II dial as well as the hands are perfect.
The bezel is perfectly sharp, and the black inlay shows only the light marks.
This fantastic GMT II comes with box and papers. It has been sold on December 15, 2004, by rolex authorized dealer Oriental Watch Co. in Hong Kong (LC 888). Included in the scope of delivery is the original hang tag with serial number and the watch’s code, confirming delivery with a black bezel.
Yes, some will say that a GMT watch has to have a Pepsi or Coke inlay, but that’s a clear no from me. With a black bezel, the watch is just as wonderful and versatile and we’d be happy to provide you with a Pepsi or Coke inlay upon request.
The 78790A Oyster bracelet, just as the watch itself, is in pristine, unpolished condition. It shows no stretch, only slight superficial signs of wear, comes with 11 links and with the clasp code CL7 for July 2004, it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: A top-notch GMT watch in both look and quality.
