Description: Awesome 94010 Tudor Submariner with super rare reference dial.
The case is in very good condition. Lightly polished during a full Rolex service in 2018, the watch features full lugs, sharp edges, and a beautiful matte finish on the top of the case. The watch has been gently worn since 2018 and therefore shows only minimal signs of wear.
As already mentioned, the dial is super rare. If you research the reference, you will 99.9% likely find either the Snowflake or the Trident variant. Here we have exactly the same visual layout as both 5513 Submariners from Rolex, meaning all the indices are identical. This layout is only found on 94010s delivered around 1980. Possibly an attempt to boost sales by visually resembling Rolex, or simply a test for another idea. We don’t know, but we do know that the dial is extremely rare.
The dial is in excellent condition, by the way, and the hands are just as excellent.
The bezel is extremely sharp, and the bezel inlay is a wonderful MK3 inlay with bold print and a wonderful patina.
This fantastic, rare Tudor Submariner comes with service papers from Rolex Depperich in Reutlingen. The service was performed on November 28, 2018.
The 93150 Oyster bracelet is in excellent condition. It has been bought during the service in 2018, so it is branded Rolex and not Tudor.
Conclusion: A rare, fantastic Tudor Sub with the look of the 5513. A hidden treasure?
