Description: Highlight Piece. 1019 Milgauss with the rare and beautiful black dial.
Highlight? We have been dealing in vintage Rolexes for more than six years now and this is the second black Milgauss we are allowed to offer out of almost 2000 watches! That’s a rare thing.
The case is in very good condition. The watch has been polished in the past, but not over-polished, as is unfortunately very often the case with this model.
The proportions are therefore correct, the edges are beautiful and the matt finish on the top of the case is very good.
There are minor signs of wear, but of course no deep scratches, dents or the like.
The black Milgauss dial is magnificent.
The combination of the flat case and the smooth bezel makes the black dial stand out wonderfully.
Add to this the red Milgauss lettering and the red tip of the second hand and you have a great overall look.
Condition?
Great and without any weaknesses.
The tritium hands are in great condition with a fine patina that matches the dial.
The 78360 Oyster bracelet is fine, with almost no stretch and minimal signs of wear.
It came to the watch as part of a service and bears the clasp code T1 for January 1995.
Attention.
With the 1019 Milgauss, it is extremely important that the cover is original and, above all, that the brass cover of the case, which protects the watch from magnetism, is present.
That’s why I took extra pictures of it during the incoming goods inspection.
Feel free to ask for them!
Conclusion: A black beauty.
A shelf warmer in the 80s, a cult object today.
