A wonderful Royal Oak Offshore\u2014aka “THE BEAST”\u2014from the first series, presented as a full set.<\/p>\n

The case is in very good condition. With beautifully sharp edges, a great matte finish and only minimal signs of wear, the case is absolutely worthy of a “BEAST.” The watch was polished to a very high standard by Wempe during a routine service.<\/p>\n

Just as the case, the bezel is in very good condition, showing only minor signs of wear on its polished side surfaces. First-series Offshore models were characterized by an edge that was quite close to the bezel screws. One often sees examples where\u2014following a polish\u2014the edges of the screws actually reach into the polished side of the bezel. This is an undesirable aesthetic\u2014and, fortunately, it is not the case here.<\/p>\n

The original “Micro Tapisserie” dial is in top condition. In addition to the beautiful shade of blue\u2014a feature unique to the first series\u2014the dial exhibits a subtle “tropical” patina that adds charm. The hands are original and display a patina that harmonizes wonderfully with the dial.<\/p>\n

For a first-series “BEAST,” the pushers are always a critical factor. These were frequently replaced\u2014often with black pushers\u2014which tends to detract from the watch’s appearance. Here, however, we have the original blue pushers\u2014a detail that is sure to delight any collector.<\/p>\n

The watch comes as a full set, featuring a particularly special highlight: the original octagonal box from the first series. This box is instantly recognizable by its Plexiglas window, which allows you to see\u2014even when the box is closed\u2014that a Royal Oak Offshore “BEAST” resides within.<\/p>\n

The watch has originally been sold in July 1998 by Swiss Watch Deluxe Ltd.<\/p>\n

The original integrated Royal Oak bracelet is also in very good condition. We have included a specific photograph to showcase its quality; as you can see, it retains nearly full tension.<\/p>\n
