Fantastic Red Sub with a MK6 dial, great patina and a stunning Ghost MK3 bezel inlay.<\/p>\n

The case is in excellent condition. As the pictures show, the case is wonderfully fat and has exactly the proportions one would expect from a Red Submariner from the early 1970s. I would say the watch is unpolished or perhaps minimally polished. In any case, it’s a top-notch case that leaves nothing to be desired. There are some signs of wear and a bit of sleeve polish but that’s exactly what a great vintage case looks like.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights of this watch is certainly the magnificent Red Submariner dial. It’s the MK6 variant, recognizable by the vibrant red lettering and the closed 6s and 660ft. The condition is truly great. The lume has a wonderful patina, there’s absolutely no damage to the dial, and the vibrant red lettering of the Submariner logo is a defining feature.<\/p>\n

The tritium hands are in equally wonderful condition and, depending on the light, may be a shade darker than the dial, which isn’t noticeable on the wrist.<\/p>\n

The bezel is wonderfully sharp, and the original bezel inlay is my personal highlight. It’s a beautifully aged inlay, also known among collectors as a “ghost” because the numerals are now very difficult to read. Such genuine and authentic MK3 ghost inlays are simply fantastic.<\/p>\n

The 93150 Oyster bracelet is also in fine vintage condition. It shows slight stretch and identical signs of wear to the case. The clasp code is 1\/76, and it’s either a slightly newer bracelet or the watch has been delivered late and this is the original bracelet. I’m betting on the original.<\/p>\n

In conclusion: A RED Sub with the kind of presence you’d want. Buy it, wear it, love it.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
