I actually only do my core brands, but there are watches out there that you put on and your eyes start to sparkle. That’s exactly what happened to me with this rare beauty. Perfect funky design language of the 70s from Piaget, the master of stone dials. <\/p>\n

The condition of the case is top notch. The watch has probably only been lightly polished once . The transitions of the case are perfect and the finish is wonderful. There are signs of wear, but overall the case creates a “want to have” feeling from the first second. <\/p>\n

The quality of the case is also confirmed by the caseback. Don’t be surprised here. The watch had a round sticker, which we removed. But you can clearly see that the watch has been worn so little that the case has already taken on a great yellow gold patina. Easy to remove if you want, but I would leave it as it is. Pure charm! <\/p>\n

In addition to the general rarity of the reference, which cost a fortune in the 70s, the dial is an absolute highlight. As already mentioned, it is a wonderful lapis lazuli dial in perfect condition. The color is a wonderfully strong blue and contrasts beautifully with the yellow gold of the case. <\/p>\n

By the way, this dial is of a special quality. If you search online for this reference, you will find a handful of watches with lapis lazuli dials. All but one of these dials are already very old and have the Swiss lettering at 6 o’clock that has fallen off. This dial here has a perfectly preserved print, which makes it even more interesting and valuable. <\/p>\n

The hands as well as the glass and crown is top-notch as well. <\/p>\n

The watch has been recently checked by us. The Beta 21 caliber shows great tension, is clean, and runs perfectly with a fresh battery. <\/p>\n

We bought the watch on a dark blue leather strap and I liked it straight away. So we left it. If requested, the buyer can get a new leather strap in the color of their choice. The pin buckle is of course also original Piaget in 18 carat yellow gold. <\/p>\n

Conclusion: A real highlight outside the core of our brands. The watch is so much fun and is a rare beauty. <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
